Hi guys,
I wanted to share my latest paintings with you. I have been working on a series called "five elements", they will include 'earth', 'fire', 'air', 'water', and 'spirit'. Here is a look at 'earth' and 'fire'. Acrylics and mixed media are being used. The canvas size is 24" x 36" x 2". These are available for purchase.
I appreciate your positive input :) xo

introductory.
Hello my friends,
It is very exciting to finally join the blogging world! Perhaps I should introduce myself.. my name is Kirsten Courtland. I am an interior design graduate, now colour consultant as well as a contemporary abstract artist. I would love to chat with you about colour and all that comes with it!
Summer is arriving and it brings all the pretty colours of nature with it. Aren't all of those gorgeous trees and flowers inspiring! Purples, pinks, blues, greens, yellows, the list goes on... if you are inspired by these summer colours, try bringing some of them into your home! It is very easy and inexpensive to do with accessories. Swap out your dark pillows for some more colourful ones, and add a few colourful vases or candles to your tables. Enjoy a pop of summery colour!
